Sea air is hard on pianos. Ours travel in a fully enclosed, waterproof truck, wrapped in heavy blankets, so spray and showers on the coast road never reach the instrument.
Long Staircases Planned For
A staircase down to a beach house is where a careless move goes wrong. We check the width, the turns and the landings, and plan how the piano will be controlled every step of the way.
Uprights, Grands, Pianolas
We move upright pianos, baby and concert grand pianos and heavy pianolas. Uprights stay standing on a trolley; grands are dismantled, skidded and reassembled.
Up the Tail Lift
A 1-tonne wide platform hydraulic tail lift raises the piano to the truck tray, so there is no ramp and no lifting by hand. GPS tracking follows the truck on the road.
Storage Between Moves
Renovating the beach house? We offer short and long term piano storage, then deliver the piano when the work is done.
